What “shift SRT online” actually does
SubRip (.srt) files store start and end times for each caption. A time shift adds the same offset to every timestamp— for example +500 ms so all cues appear half a second later. That is different from editing individual lines in Premiere or DaVinci, which you only need when cues drift apart over time.

Limits of online shift
